PROFILE

Presides over STUDIO BYCOLOR, a design office producing creations that effectively utilize the power of colors and materials. After graduating from the Department of Design Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Chiba University in 2002, she continues actvities to the present through her experience at Itoki Co., Ltd. and STUDIO Samira Boon (Netherlands).
Received German Design Award (Germany), DESIGN PLUS (Germany), DFA Asian Design Award (Hong Kong), DIA Top100 (Hangzhou, China), Good Design Award (Japan), etc. Exhibited at domestic and international exhibitions such as Milano Salone (Italy) and Ambiente (Germany). From 2018, planning and directing the design exhibition "MATERIAL IN TIME" that conveys Japanese creativity from the perspective of materials at PMQ in Hong Kong. Part-time lecturer at the Department of Design Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Chiba University and the Department of System Design, Faculty of Design Engineering, Hosei University.(present)

The "reason" that you feel when you put yourself in nature and face other creatures.
Through various thoughts, I have come up with the image of "sometimes rough and sometimes gentle wind" and "a forest that envelops living creatures".
Each pattern on the scope creates a unique beauty along with the coloring of the aluminum body.
